About Us

Bringing together of our passion for professional and personal development, our interest in the theatre and our experience in training, industry & academia the idea of a joint venture aimed at reaching out with a new offering focused on all elements of performance was born over the summer of 2010.

Our thinking is the fruit of many seasons of studying, training, teaching and leading. This is our business, our passion and our now. We are committed to sharing this material with you, knowing society as a whole will profit when individuals perform at their highest levels.

Using the theme of the theatre as a metaphor for work with its rehearsals, specific skill requirements and the idea of ‘performing’ in front of others, the information and posts that we offer focus on how people can give their best in all phases and forms of employments, and beyond. As an expression of channelling the power of preparation and practice into peak moments of excellence, the theatre represents a benchmark for organizational operations and procedures. ‘Getting it right on the night’ is equivalent to executing flawlessly a customer-facing task.

In today’s world of work we are all facing transformation and change in working practices and employment opportunities. The ‘9 to 5’ working day for many is something associated with past generations.

Each person, no matter what their official employment status, needs to be aware he or she is the Chief Executive Officer of ‘ME Plc’. Whether employed, self-employed or unemployed, as CEO each has responsibilities and duties towards ME Plc. The role is a 24/7 part, the spotlight is always on the CEO. The only variable factor is the size of the stage one is performing on.

Alongside excellence in sector specific technical skills, the so-called ‘soft skills’ – interpersonal abilities such as empathy, leadership, communication and sociability, and personal attributes of optimism, responsibility, a sense of humour, integrity and motivation – are increasingly important to those wishing to optimize their personal resources and maximize opportunities, leading to the achievement of ME Plc goals and objectives.

Shining the spotlight on your potential, bringing into the open its uniqueness and creativity are what we aim to do, using the theatre as a catalyst for growth and a bridge between the world of work and the power of the stage. Though somewhat unconventional, we hope our offerings will be fun, thought-provoking and instructive.

Reputations can be seriously harmed through poor delivery, true whether referring to the lines of a play or a company’s offering. Walk-throughs, dress rehearsals, and practice runs are crucially important in ensuring the single opportunity to create a good first impression is taken and used to the best possible effect.
